A: With Peekaboo, all that is required for testing is a DNA source for the baby. This source can be provided by a small blood sample from the mother. The sample can be provided as early as 6 weeks into a pregnancy. Our all-female lab technicians will carefully handle the DNA sample throughout every step of the early gender testing process.
Using the latest technology, we extract fetal DNA in the mom’s bloodstream, which appears in the first few weeks of pregnancy. Then, we can detect if that fetal DNA contains the male (Y) chromosome, indicating that you’re expecting a boy! If not, you’re pregnant with a baby girl!
